TECH Model
Traditional, Enhanced, Choice, Handoff
TECH is another model that can be used to to plan. Handoff and choice are student driven categories, whereas enhanced and traditional are teacher driven categories. Handoff and choice also meet higher levels of thinking in Bloom's Taxonomy (create, evaluate, and analyze).
Handoff- Handoff is the highest level of thinking. Based on interest, the students drive the learning and have flexibility in which tech tools to use.
Choice: Broad goals are set by teacher. Students have choices of tasks using a specified range of tools.
Enhnaced: The teacher integrates technology tools to create an enhanced learning experience for students.
Traditional: Teacher designs the task using traditional pedagogy with technology supports.
